GobanGarden collects account and invite details, policy acceptance records, learning progress, local review state, tutor/game events, feedback, issue reports, attached app-state/board/screenshot artifacts, and operational logs.
We use this data to provide the beta, keep learner progress separate, debug errors, improve lessons, evaluate tutor behavior, operate invites and sessions, and understand capacity.
The core beta may use KataGo and HumanSL-style analysis. OpenAI may process issue-report text, a bounded app-state snapshot, the board image, and any optional screenshot solely for the scoped technical-triage workflow described here; do not include unnecessary sensitive or third-party information. General LLM coaching is not part of the initial core beta unless separately enabled under updated policy language.
We do not sell beta learner data. Infrastructure providers may process data needed for hosting, email, backups, logging, tunnels, and analysis.
